Creating a trauma-informed organization
Community organizations are on the frontline of interacting with people who have experienced trauma. An awareness of trauma and the role it plays in people's lives can help inform program development, protocols, and relationship-building with participants. This workshop will provide an overview of what trauma is and help staff and organizations understand what it looks like to work from a trauma-informed perspective.
